Spring Is Served In Black And White At The Servant’s Dining Room

All Are Welcome!

Showcasing her watercolor series of white flowers against a black background, Shobha serves up a multi-sensory experience of Spring. Her paintings represent both the memories of seasons past as well as the as yet unrealized dreams of seasons to come.

As you step through, imagine you are emerging from winter and stepping into spring. Do you hear the sound of rain? Cool, welcome rain gently coaxing the earth to rise and shine. Take a deep breath. Is that the smell of petrichor in the air? That earthy aroma signaling the return of delightful, flower filled days. Like scattered diamonds glinting a million rainbows, drops of rain adorn the soil.

Morning has broken with the chorus at dawn. The birds are busy foraging, building nests, laying eggs. Sun-kissed buds bravely emerge to reveal freshfaces irresistible to discerning fauna on feasting forays. Sensory overload!

In this limited palette of black and white, you, the viewer, are called upon to use your unbridled imagination. Add in the hues of your dreams and take your fill of the season we’ve all been waiting for.

After the tour, come on over to the Marketplace to say Hello. I’ll be at the Seeds Of Design booth.

Enjoy!
